The New Bizzabo Blog Is Here – What You Should Know

David Epstein

The Bizzabo blog has been around since the company started in 2011, it has helped to educate millions of readers about event planning, marketing and business among other categories.

In an effort to further improve the Bizzabo Blog, you will notice some helpful changes next week when we launch a redesigned experience.

Here’s what readers can expect when visiting the new Bizzabo Blog.

A New Homepage and Updated Categories

In an effort to make it easier for readers to browse more of our 300+ articles, we’ve redesigned the homepage and have added new category pages. Now, readers will be able to select from many rich article “tiles,” rather than being limited to seeing only 10 of the most recent posts.

As mentioned, readers will find a new “categories” menu that will allow them to find content dedicated to specific topics like: Event Marketing, Event Engagement, Event Management, Business, Geeks and Updated.

Loyal readers will notice that the blog will have two new categories, “Geeks” and “Updates.” Geeks will provide Bizzabo’s talented Developers and Product Managers with a place to talk about their learnings from building Bizzabo, Updates will make it easy for those interested to learn about changes to our platform.

An Improved Search Experience

Since we know search is important, we’ve built an entirely new experience. Readers will be able to search for topics of interest by clicking the magnifying glass, and our platform will comb through our articles to find the most relevant ones.

On the right, readers will see two clickable boxes that will lead them to other helpful event planning content.

Clean-Reader Friendly Articles

One of the hardest things to do online is to read an article in peace. To help visitors concentrate on the content, we’ve designed a clutter-free reading experience.

When building the new blog, we focus on making text big, crisp and clear. To achieve this we optimized line-spacing, and typography to provide readers with a truly enjoyable experience.

Simple Ways To Discover More Content

To make it easier for readers to find other helpful content, we’re releasing resource blocks on the right of each blog post. Each post will have two relevant resources for readers who want to learn more about a specific topic.

We’re also adding a “You Might Also Like” section at the end of each post to help readers find other great articles that might help them.

Detailed Author Pages

Many of the authors who contribute content to the blog are fascinating people, thanks to detailed author pages readers will have the ability to learn more about the people behind the blog.

Social buttons will make it easier for readers to get in touch with authors on various platforms as well.

More Of What You Love

Moving forward, readers can expect more articles covering a wider variety of topics, from event marketing and event management, to business and technical development. We will gradually produce more high quality content for readers to enjoy!

The Bizzabo blog has helped countless numbers of event planners and business people to work better and smarter. The new blog design will help us to better serve readers in a number of different ways. We hope you are excited as we are for the launch. For questions, or feedback please leave a comment below.
