Bizzabo in NYC: Nineties, Networking, and Brews
You remember it all too well. That time when bleached tips were the fashion, Tang was the drink of choice, and certain promiscuous interns were infamous. Though the 90’s are so recent we can hardly call it nostalgia, Bizzabo is taking one special night to celebrate our NYC arrival by flashing back to that one and only decade that gleefully embraced the macarena.
This Friday June 7th, in our NYC office, we are hosting a networking event that will be [almost] as badass as MC Hammer’s parachute pants. This is a night about getting to know other entrepreneurs, startups, and event organizers while spreading the word about our mission here in the states.
And of course the beer.
The free beer.
As part of our startup culture and all around brew-embracing belief system, we believe in the power of networking over beer, and that the strongest of connections can be formed in an open, fun, and social environment. We’re all about ditching the nametag and taking the time to meet the people you’re truly interested in.
Our event will take place on the 8th floor of WeWork, our New York home as well as home to many other innovative startups. It’s an amazing space that we know won’t disappoint!
The event will also feature 90’s prizes, tons of polaroid pics, free beer and wine, an instagram wall (just use the #BizzaboNYC hashtag!), 90’s games, demos of the app, and loads of cool, interesting people. As of today, the event is registered up to capacity (no surprise there 😉 ), but if you’re in the NYC area and want to come, you’re welcome to join the waiting list and we’ll notify you if we get approval to release more slots.
Hope to see you there!
