Ever since we founded Bizzabo over a year ago, we've worked hard to build a great product, which will deliver maximum value for both event organizers and attendees. Powered by a very strong team of brilliant individuals, we are all confident that we will accomplish our goal, and become the standard networking solution for conferences, meetups and business gatherings.
I'm happy to announce that two weeks ago we secured a $1.5 million financing round from leading angel investors. The funds raised will be put towards opening a U.S. presence, expanding our team, and growing our user base of happy event organizers and attendees.
Investors include leading Israeli industry figures such as: Kaedan Capital Group, investors in Playtika and 5Min; Gigi Levy, a serial angel investor and former CEO of 888 Holdings; Prof. Yair Tauman, leading Professor of economics and serial angel investor; AfterDox angels group and additional American and European angel investors. Pre-seed round investors also participated in the current round.

Since our official launch less than 2 months ago, we’ve facilitated more than 100,000 social interactions between attendees (!) in hundreds of conferences and meetups around the world. Simultaneously, our R&D team is working on some really cool and new features for our iOS and Android apps while our business dudes are creating new partnerships with brand-name organizations.
