• In-depth knowledge of web technologies: HTML5, Javascript, CSS3.
• Experience with writing fully client-side applications built on Javascript frameworks such as Backbone.js, Handlebars.js, easyXDM etc.

We are looking for a very brilliant Android developer with excellent development abilities to join our core R&D team and lead the architecture, design and implementation of our Android clients.

Required qualifications:

• 2+ years experience developing on Android
• Working in a multi threaded environment
• Substantial understanding in UI components (Fragments, ViewPager, ListView, ActionBar, etc.)
• Good knowledge in the Animation framework including compatibility packages
• Working with multiple Android devices / OS versions (including Gingerbread)
• Full comprehension of the Model-View-Controller, Observer and Singleton patterns
• Working with SQL databases (SQLite / MySQL / etc.)

Advantage:

• Experience with / familiar with profiling tools such as MAT

You will be testing our mobile and web app from end to end. You will be working closely with the QA team leader, and with the R&D team. You will write test plans and test cases and you will be doing heads down testing and then present the findings.

Bizzabo is a super cool, award winning startup about to disrupt the event networking industry. We are looking for undergraduate students to advocate the product on campus, spearheading our US expansion. Bizzabo makes networking at events easier, productive and fun, while helping the event organizer to mobilize and socialize the event in no time. TechCrunch, PandoDaily, WSJ, SocialTimes, TheNextWeb and many others have covered us.

Responsibilities

• Increase brand awareness among students and student clubs
• Actively participate and network at startups/entrepreneurial events
• Add at least 3 relevant events to Bizzabo every week
• Introduce Bizzabo to student clubs, i.e. tech, business, investment banking, entrepreneurial, etc
• Promotion on the campus’ social channels
• Content creation: write at least 1 blog post a week

The ideal candidate:

• Has ties to the various student organizations/clubs and other event organizers
• Strong writing and editing skills
• Creative and flexible - out of the box thinker
• Online presence - Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, G+, etc
• Interest in business development, marketing, and the event networking industry
• Highly organized with excellent oral and written communication skills
• Passion for mobile products and services
• Confident speaker, capable of advocating to small or large crowds
• Background in marketing, PR or social networks - a plus
